I don't get it.
Pretty sure sm's plan was to let shinee get all the daesangs this year, so they're like hey we're gonna overwork you to the fucking max okay but don't worry it's all for your good. And then in the middle of all this they release xoxo in 4 different versions with even the chi albums counting towards the total sales. I mean, if you meant to let shinee win this year why put out a threat from your own same company?? that's not nice. It's like being betrayed by your own company. And I'm pretty sure they knew how much exo stans were waiting for this full album. Shinee started promotions right at the start of the year, with 3 Korean comebacks, 4 Korean albums, 3 jap singles and 1 full length jap album. All in a year of running from Korea to japan back to Korea, having up to 6 schedules in a day, recording for music shows at 4am in the morning just to fly to japan the next day. And exo? Doing nothing for half the year, then promoting for 3 months. Why overwork our boys for nothing? Our total sales for 2013 was half a million- totally enough to get us a GDA trophy.

And SMA judges get what 40%(??) of the votes. Are they too blinded by the number of album sales?? Just because you sell so many does not mean you have it all. I actually thought we stood a chance bc judges were supposed to be fair.

Giving exo 4 daesangs in a year, just 1 year after their debut- do you think they even know and recognize the meaning of this daesang?? Tvxq,suju,snsd won the daesang some 3-5 years after debut and we could all see how much it meant to them. And exo was practically expecting the award, said their speech like a normal inkigayo speech. That is not how today's idols are supposed to behave.

In 2014 we have tvxq/snsd/suju comebacks and really there is no way we can surpass the elf/Cassie fandom in terms of album sales. And if exo continues selling 1 mil per year really how can any other group beat that? Does that mean they get the daesang continuously? Now that's not fair alrdy. These music awards are supposed to be given to artistes to recognize their achievements and hard work over the past year. Not just bc they released one album in 16326 versions and fans buy 272749262 copies each. That just degrades the true meaning of all the big awards and really shows that even the judges are freaking biased and unfair. That's not even best album award, it's award for the most no. Of album sales.

One thing I'm worried about is sm giving up on shinee bc they think they can't go on, can't make it anymore. And if that happens really, the shinee world fandom is alrdy getting so small there is no way we can support our idols like what elf does to SJ. What will happen then?

This whole thing makes me feel so unfair and sad for our boys. I'm sorry we couldn't get you the award we wanted. But pls stop saying that you'll work harder bc any harder you'll crash and die. Now it's time for us to woI really hope exo/exo fans don't get arrogant about this, bc no matter what happens shinee will always be shining brightly even without a daesang. Exo didn't deserve the dae sang, not yet, not now. We all know where the true talent lies in.
